Bono reportedly apologized in a recent BBC interview, he admitted to dissing president estupido aka President George W. Bush back in 2006 when dubya tried to give his favorite rock star a hug.

No one knew about this for years. However one person at the event did spot the "hug snub." When Bono sat back down, he sat next to then-Senator Obama, who whispered in Bono's ear: Nice work with the dodge." Well nothing gets by this guy.
In the interview Bono admitted he felt bad about dissing the leader of the free world. Bono also argue that Mr. Bush did alot for the people of Africa. Well he didn't really have to say a word because only President Obama really knew about this dissing of the president.
